I'm Valentins, a freelance programmer with 5 years of experience. I build things for the web, and I fix them when they break. WordPress is one of my tools, not my only one.
The problem. The owner could not open his "Reports" page for editing, and the old design made his reports, interviews and photos hard to find.
The fix. The crash came from hundreds of stored page revisions that used up the server's memory. I removed them and capped future revisions. Then I rebuilt the design as a custom plugin, so the content stays his and stays editable in the normal WordPress editor.

I use your name, email address and message only to answer you and, if we work together, to prepare and carry out the job. Emails go through Gmail (Google). Legal basis: steps taken before a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)) and my interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f)). I keep enquiries as long as needed to answer them. Invoices and accounting records are kept for the period Latvian law requires.
You can ask me for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction, a copy, or object to its use, by writing to valentinsjk@gmail.com. You can also complain to the Latvian data protection authority, Datu valsts inspekcija (dvi.gov.lv).
I do not sell personal data. I share it only with the providers named above, or where the law requires.

Each job is agreed in writing before work starts: what I will do, the price and when payment is due. Anything outside that scope is quoted separately.
I invoice for the agreed price, with VAT where it applies. Payment is by bank transfer to the account on the invoice.
Texts, photos and other content you provide stay yours. Unless we agree otherwise in writing, I keep copyright in the design and code I write, and you may use it for the agreed website.
I back up a site before major changes where I can. You should still keep your own regular backups.
I work with care, but I cannot promise a site will never have errors. My liability for a job is limited to the fee you paid for it, except where the law does not allow such a limit.
Latvian law applies. If we cannot settle a dispute together, the courts of Latvia decide it.
I may update these terms. The version published here on the date of our agreement applies to that job.
